POP/ROCK Collective from The Hague.
Around 2000 the pop scene in The Hague was vivid. Hallo Venray, Gruppo Sportivo and Burma Shave were on top. Local heroes Suburbs and Easy Meat moved the crowd, and bands like Tuesday Child, Unit and Tiki Heads followed. Then something special happened. They started writing songs together. The Wishing Well was born.
More friends joined in like Sven Figee and Wouter Kiers. The result was "Something out of Nothing", recorded in two weeks. The unique CD presentation was done with 6 different lineups in 6 different venues in The Hague. The strong melodic songs proved a favorite live on stage and on air (2 Meter Sessions).
Two years later "A Dime a Dozen" brought in members from Dyzack, Mashed Potatoes, Incense and Blizzard.
Fast forward to 2023. Repeated requests for a Spotify re-release reunited the band. Old times revived and new songs were written, resulting in the 5-track EP "Dig.It.All Connection Complete" and a spot on the The Hague liberation festival.
The Well has not dried up yet. Let's see which Wishes will come true...
